Overview

SDH™ is a high foaming, powerful hydrotroping system for coupling nonionic surfactants into high electrolyte formulations. In addition to coupling, SDH™ boosts the formula foam profile, and contributes significantly to improved wetting and detergency. SDH™ is low odor and has excellent environmental characteristics.

Cost / Performance

  • Effective in multiple applications from acidic to neutral and high alkaline systems
  • Excellent economics compared to amphoteric hydrotropes, especially at high levels of caustic (10% active NaOH)
  • Much lower use levels compared to other amphoterics and anionic hydrotropes
  • Significantly boosts foam profile of final formula
  • Demonstrated improvement in cleaning efficiency as compared to degreasers made with other amphoteric hydrotropes
  • Improved dynamic surface tension results in better wetting compared to competitors
