SB-GHA™

Overview

SB-GHA™ is a highly unique product that is part of our Smart Builders portfolio of products. SB-GHA™ is a replacement for traditional builder packages that allow you to achieve 12-13pH, WITHOUT having corrosion to skin, eye or most metals (including aluminum). They are backed up by corrosion data to support your classification needs. SB-GHA™ could replace your need for chelates, dispersants, and builds all the alkalinity you should need for high pH cleaning. SB-GHA™ is phosphorus free and is listed on Cleangredients – ideal for high pH green certification formulas.

Package & Handling

• SB-GHA™ is available in 55 US gallon plastic drums (Net wt. 585 lbs/ 265.4 kg), 5 US gallon UN plastic pails (Net wt. 50 lbs/ 22.7kg) and totes (Net wt. 2712 lbs/ 1230.1 kg).
• It is recommended that the product be stored in high density polyethylene or polypropylene containers. Packaging and formula stability testing is always required as quality of packaging can vary.
• It is possible to make formulations with SB-GHA that will not cause hydrogen embrittlement when testing in accordance toASTM F519-18 Standard Test Method for Mechanical Hydrogen Embrittlement Evaluation of Plating/Coating Processes andService Environments; (Specimens Type 1c, cadmium plated per MIL-STD-870; 45% load, notched, 150 hours of immersionfor the duration at room temperature).
